Besides being a singer, Alinka also works as a singing teacher. She has a Master's degree in teaching and in singing, and has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. Alinka has been teaching singers one-to-one since 2003.

Her teaching and singing method is based on a scientific approach to breathing called Terlusollogy which distinguishes between two breathing types. Alinka herself was also taught according to this method by a distinguished Hungarian professor and opera singer, Kammersängerin Magda Nádor.
